Calderón Insults Arizona, Democrats Cheer!

Hard Rain Episode-0051 Calderón Insults Arizona, Democrats Cheer!

Representative Tom McClintock (R-Ca) gives the best response yet to the outrageous, insulting spectacle of Mexican President Felipe Calderón interfering with an internal matter of the United States by calling the recently passed Arizona Illegal-Immigration law, racial profiling. Too bad McClintock, is the only Republican voice to be heard on this.

Democrats from the House and Senate and members of the Obama Cabinet gave Calderón a standing ovation. They say it's better than the finale of Lost.

Obama never wanted illegal-immigration to become an issue in this election year. Faced with the issue popping up due to Arizona's new law he is trying to have it both ways on the issue. He also denounced the Arizona law in a joint appearance with President Felipe Calderón but is now sending 1,200 National Guard Troops to the state of Arizona.

President Obama's approval rating at a new low of 42%. Support for repealing the Health Care Bill hits a new high of 63%. And, 72% of American are not sure Congress knows what it is doing when it comes to the economy.

Tennessee shows Arizona a little love on the Arizona Illegal-immigration bill.

After admitting that he was offered a job by someone in exchange for dropping out of the recent Pennsylvania Democratic Primary he won, Rep. Joe Sestak (D-Pa) now refuses to give any more info. He say's, "Anybody else has to decide on what they will say upon their role. That's their responsibility," when pressed for more. That's how normal people answer a question right? I wonder if he's gotten any calls since admitting this in February.

In the first quarter of 2010 the Federal government underwrote 96.5% of all new mortgages. The federal government is now almost the only place you can get someone to risk that the average American can and will pay back a loan on a home.

A recent study by the National Center for Policy Analysis says tax credits for small business in the recently crammed through Health Care Deform Bill will discourage small businesses from hiring new workers.

Another stimulus bill coming! This time, just like every other time it's for jobs. This time Obama and the Democrats promise unemployment won't go above 100%.

New Jersey Governor and ass kicker, Chris Christie vetoes a 'millionaires tax' passed by the NJ state legislature. He then denounced the idea that governments problems are caused by a lack of money.

Ninja's rescue student from muggers. That's right, actual ninjas.

Wal-Mart fires another employee for stopping a shoplifter.

Texas Rangers file for bankruptcy, due in part to giving Alex Rodriquez $252 Million.

Mosque being built near the site of the World Trade Center in New York.

FCC says it has 'No Record' of any communication to or from the Chairman Julius Genachowski on Limbaugh, Savage, Hannity, Levin, Beck, or Ingraham. They don't need to single out individual hosts. They want to control the content of every radio station.

A study from The Environmental Working Group indicates that sunscreens containing Vitamin A actually accelerate the growth of cancer cells.

A recent UN report says that "Climate Change' should now take a back seat to 'Saving Species.' Translation, 'they figured out the scam, get a new one quick.' Luckily the solution for 'Saving Species' is identical to the solutions for 'Climate Change.' If I didn't know better I'd think these people were up to something. But I know better, don't you.

Historic buildings, Slave Cabins in NC, to be torn down due to code violations.

Scientists at Cornell University say overhearing a cell phone conversation is so annoying because to many people because we only get half the conversation.

And More!

After the show be sure to listen for Tom McClintock's entire response to Mexican President Felipe Calderón.

Obama Apologizes To China For Arizona Law.

Hard Rain Episode-0050 Obama Apologizes To China For Arizona Law.

Assistant Secretary of State Michael Posner apologizes to China for the Arizona Illegal-immigration law during recent talks on Human Rights. Apparently the Obama Administration considers executing prisoners to sell their organs on the black market to be a crime comparable in its horror only to a state that thinks it has the right to self governance and tries to enforce the law.

Hard Rain takes an actual look at the actual illegal immigration bill in actual Arizona.

The Arizona law is modeled on federal law. Any legitimate objection to the bill concerning discrimination would have already been raised at the federal level. People opposed to the AZ bill are simply against immigration laws being enforced. They knew the Federal government was not and would not enforce the law. But it looks like Arizona now will.

Seattle City Council votes unanimously to boycott Arizona over the illegal-immigration law. They also voted unanimously in 2007 to call for an end to the war in Iraq. As I'm sure you remember we left Iraq shortly thereafter.

Reverend Jeremiah Wright returns! He claims in a letter that Obama, "threw me under the bus," and that Obama now considers him, "toxic."

Cass Sunstein on controlling speech on the internet. Spoiler alert! He's for it and even has little plans.

Who care's about Sunstein you ask? Supreme court nominee Elena Kagan does. She says of him, "Cass Sunstein is the preeminent legal scholar of our time. His work in any one of the fields he pursues...is singular and breathtaking."

Supreme Court Issues two major rulings. They rule that criminals deemed 'sexually dangerous' may be held indefinitely after serving their sentences. The other ruling says that minors cannot be given life sentences without parole for non-homicide crimes.

Election results: Rand Paul wins in Kentucky, Blanche Lincoln faces a runoff in Arkansas, and Democrats hold Murtha's seat in Pennsylvania. And the sweetest news of all? Arlen Spector loses in Pennsylvania primary. Don't let the door hit you on the way out Arlen.

Obama uses the visit of Mexican President Calderon to criticize the Arizona Illegal Immigration bill.

Center for Economic and Policy Research Economist Dean Baker say's those who are optimistic about housing are 'Not Paying Attention.'

Man selling bunker spots $50,000.

Does cell phone use cause cancer? UN spends $24 Million to find out and discovers... that they don't know.

In spite of not knowing if cell phones cause cancer right now the UN does know what will be happening in 40 years. Namely that all the fish in the ocean will die by 2050.

Reality Rears It's Ugly Head In Times Square.

Hard Rain Episode-0048 Reality Rears It's Ugly Head In Times Square.

NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg speculates that the person behind the attempted Times Square Bombing could be someone, “Home-grown, maybe a mentally deranged person or somebody with a political agenda that doesn’t like the health care bill or something. It could be anything.”

Anything except the Muslim extremist it turned out to be.

Hakimullah Lives! Pakistani Taliban leader thought killed twice by US attacks resurfaces again.

Contessa Brewer (MSLSD) expresses disappointment that the NYC bomber is who he is and not a Tea Partier.

Obama gives a commencement speech at the University of Michigan. Speaking to the graduates he says, "What troubles me is when I hear people say that all of government is inherently bad."

Maybe he's refering to people like Thomas Paine, who said, "Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state, an intolerable one." What an extremist. Probably a Ron Paul supporter or a Veteran.

Obama Doesn't Worry About The Rules.

Hard Rain Episode-0043 Obama Doesn't Worry About The Rules.

As predicted last week another Obama deadline comes and goes. Now the vote is to be held on Sunday. It never ends with these locusts.

Obama pushing the idea that Americans aren't interested in the process. He even does an interview with Evil Fox News. He says, "I don't spend a lot of time worrying about what the procedural rules are in the House or the Senate." I think that goes for every Democrat in the House or the Senate.

Pelosi says its only the beginning. In fact she said, "once we kick through this door, there'll be more legislation to follow." Locusts.

Democrat floor whip Rep. Stephen Lynch calls attempts to "deem" the Senate bill passed with out an actual vote, "disingenuous" and says it would harm Congress's credibility. What credibility?

Walgreens to stop taking new Medicaid drug patients in the state of Washington.

Obama runs a $220.9 billion deficit in the month of February.

Obama says insurance premiums will drop 3000% if health care passes. I'm still waiting for sea levels to drop since Obama is the president.

US and UK May lose AAA credit rating if debt levels continue to rise at recent rates.

This year Social Security will have to start cashing in on the "trust fund" of government bonds (debt) to pay out benefits. This debt will require that more debt be taken on in order to pay the debt. Make sense?

Disgruntled ex-employee disables 100 cars remotely.

Obama supports a plan to collect DNA from everyone arrested whether or not they are convicted of, or even charged with, a crime. What a liberal guy.

Pelosi: Pass The Bill So You Can Find Out What's In It.

Hard Rain Episode-0042 Pelosi: Pass The Bill So You Can Find Out What's In It.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi says, "we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it." It's just the latest in the endless push for Democrats to control the health care of every American.

President Obama now saying he wants the health care bill passed by March 18th. Democrats in the house are already rejecting the deadline saying it can't be done that fast.

Massa Mess. Fans of Hard Rain might remember us talking about this guy in episode 0013. Good riddance. In spite of my fellings on Massa I have no problem believing the story about Rahm Emanuel in the gym shower. That kind of confrontational, aggressive style is exactly why Obama hired him.

Surrendering Lindsey Graham (R-SC) helping Obama on two fronts. Closing Guantanamo and Amnesty for Illegal Immigrants.

Hall of Fame Defensive Lineman and actor Merlin Olson dies at age 69 after a battle with mesothelioma. He played his entire football career with the Los Angeles Rams and acted in Little House on the Prairie and Father Murphy.

Set your DVR's. (mine's TiVO) Charlie Sheen is out of Pre-hab and headed back to the set of Two and a Half Men.

CDC says 1 in 6 Americans between the ages of 14-49 have herpes.

China says it is committed to US debt. Great. See you at the bottom. I predict you'll get there first China since you keep sending us your money.

Obama administration looking at new restrictions on fishing in the nations oceans, coastal areas, Great Lakes, and inland waters. Also they don't want to hear anymore input from people that actually fish.

Black Barbie sells for less than white barbie at Wal-Mart. Civilization hangs in the balance.

50 + 1 Votes = Change You Can Believe In.

Hard Rain Episode-0041 50 + 1 Votes = Change You Can Believe In.

Obama on passing bills with 50 + 1 votes then and now.

Obama uses Doctors as props yet again in his latest TV appearance to push the latest version of Health Care.

In his latest proposal Obama claims to be incorporating four Republican ideas (which didn't exist as recently as last week.) Here's the ideas and my deconstruction of them

  1. Combating Waste, Fraud, and Abuse. - So Democrats must have been for waste, fraud, and abuse or at least against combating it.
  2. Medical Malpractice Reform. - $50 Million (or $1 Million per state) to explore alternatives to court. Here's one. Not suing because tort reform has made it unlikely you can prove your BS case in court.
  3. Medicaid Reimbursements. - Actually paying a doctor for the work they do.
  4. Health Care Exchange Plans. - Letting private companies sell the product they want to customers who want to buy them.

Co-pays are one of the worst things to happen to Health Care in this country.

Are Pro-life Democrats the only hope for blocking health care bill?

Democrats will never stop pushing for the government to run the health care system in America. It literally turns independent people into dependent people. And dependent people help make up a group Democrats call, the base.

Al Gore reappears, downplays Climategate, and reads a little poetry. Sounds like someone is a fan of a certain conservative talk shows podcast.

Sen. Jim Bunning tries in vain to make Democrats actually pay for the bills they want to pass, under the rules that they passed.

Israeli soldier reveals plans for an upcoming raid on his facebook page.

Some of the money raised by Live Aid in 1984 to combat starvation in Africa, has been shown to have made it's way into the hands of Ethiopian Anti-Government Rebels including the current Prime Minister.

Kid Air Traffic Controller sparks outrage. I think its much ado about nothing. There was never any danger to anyone at anytime.

In spite of Obama's promise to stop raiding medical marijuana dispensaries 21 were just raided in California. I predict this will only enhance support for and awareness of the proposition to legalize marijuana outright in some quantity in California.

Insurance company in California now covering medical marijuana.

Louis Farrakhan warns Obama of the "White Right" also he claims to be divine.

Obama's doctors urge him to quit smoking. Let the man have a cigarette. Even though I disagree with Obama on most issues I don't envy the job he has. He's got a lot of stress. Let him have a cigarette.

American reliance on governments is at an all time high. Americans collected more in benefits than they pain in taxes for the first time since the Great Depression. There are officially more people in the cart, than pulling the cart.

Welcome Back My Friends, To The Show That Never Ends.

Hard Rain Episode-0040 Welcome Back My Friends, To The Show That Never Ends.

The pointless waste of time known as the Health Care Summit kicks off with Congressman Rob Andrews (D-NJ) talking BS about women being kicked out of hospitals after having c-sections. Republicans of course support kicking women out of hospitals, right? We're Republicans. So do it. Do the mean thing, do it meanly, cause I'm a Republican.

Every Democrat has some sad sack story about somebody with health care.

Obama monopolizes the speaking time but says his time doesn't count because he's the president. Jerk.

Regardless of what happens Democrats plan to cram something through. They are even threatening to use reconciliation in the Senate. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid recently said Republicans should, "stop crying," about reconciliation. We take a look back at what Democrats had to say about Republican attempts to use reconciliation. It's quite a bit different than, "stop crying."

The media is trying to divide and conquer in light of Scott Brown's vote for Obama's jobs package. I have no problem with Senator Brown's vote and haven't heard any real complaints about it. I've only heard media reports of complaints about it. Divide and Conquer.

Obama Executive Orders You To Listen To Hard Rain.

Hard Rain Episode-0039 Obama Executive Orders You To Listen To Hard Rain.

Remember Obama's Senior Advisor (at the time the Co-Chair of Obama's Transition Team) Valerie Jarrett saying Obama was, "prepared to really take power and begin to 'rule' day one." Now after one year of not getting everything he wanted from Congress, Obama is now preparing to push his agenda through with the use of executive orders.

Obama is said to be preparing to use executive power, meaning; executive orders, agency rule making, and administrative fiat. It's good to be the king.

Obama celebrates the one year anniversary of the stimulus plan. The stimulus, intended to cost $787 Billion and keep unemployment at 8% instead cost $862 Billion and gave us unemployment rates over 10%. Also, most of the money from the stimulus still hasn't been spent, so how can it be $75 Billion more than we were originally told.

In yet another attempt to by-pass Congress the President is putting together a Deficit Commission. He has appointed Erskine Bowles (A Democrat. President Clinton's Chief Of Staff) chair, and former Senator Alan Simpson (R-WY) co-chair. I think we might be saved.
